Dental Students Sponsor 5k Race

McAlister's Rush to Brush 5K Walk.
The events, created by students in the UMC School of Dentistry, included
more than 250 participants and took place almost exclusively on the
Medical Center campus. The walk and race raised an estimated $3,000
for the pediatric dentistry program in the Blair E. Batson Hospital
for Children. The race was directed by the Mississippi Track Club and
was sponsored by McAlister's Deli, BankPlus, Beau Rivage, Blockbuster
Video and Fleet Feet Sports.
